Dear, As the golf season winds down in Ontario, we would like to take you down memory lane while simultaneously thanking you for your participation in the Royal Punjabi Cup 2018. This year’s event was a resounding success with participation from over 300 players and over 50 wonderful sponsors. Thanks to all of your efforts the Royal Punjabi Cup 2018 helped us raise significant amount of money for the Seva Food Bank and Khalsa Aid. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our title sponsor Nanak Foods and our Gold Sponsor Royal Bank of Canada, Golden Gate Group of Companies and Broker Financial Group. We are very proud of each of our members, players, and donors for this significant contribution in improving the world.

This year was the second time women and juniors took such an active role in our tournament. It was fantastic to see the turn out to represent Punjabis and entire families for golf and for charity. We look forward to many more families coming out to play and we will continue to improve the tournament, its rewards, and the dining experience and entertainment that follows. We also want to congratulate, acknowledge and recognize the winners in
the Royal Punjabi Cup 2018 in each category. Congratulations to all our winners!

At the Royal Punjabi Cup 2018, we also felicitated Dr. Pannu with a memento. Dr. Pannu is an avid collector of Sikh artifacts and he has made a tremendous contribution to documenting Sikh history and the Sikh tradition. Dr. Pannu, a dentist by profession, was instrumental in the formation of The Sikh Heritage Museum- providing both the seed capital and strategic advice. He is also a board member of the Sikh Foundation and he led the recent initiative to fund a Sikh scholar at the University of Toronto. In addition, Dr Pannu’s philanthropy is boundless. He has quietly and without recognition contributed to numerous causes including those pursuing relief for the poor and seeking redress for human rights violations.
