Punjabi Golfers Association was formed in Calgary, Alberta in 1997 and has been active ever since. The stated goal of the organization is to popularize the game of golf within the Punjabi community. Punjabi Golfers Association strives to introduce golf to new players by actively assisting those who wish to learn the game.
Punjabi Golfers Association further works to contribute to society at large by holding tournaments in aid of specified charities.
There is nothing like a round of golf to bring together family and friends in a sport everyone can enjoy. Punjabi Culture promotes sport and unity amongst all. Proceeds of the tournament along with donations from our sponsors and supporters go directly towards Charities including the Seva Food Bank - an initiative of Sikhs serving Canada and The Pingalwara Society for the poor deaf, blind, mentally disabled people in need.
